I'm sure of that!! :-D  The reason for cooking/rinsing all the fat out of it before dehydrating is, so that it will keep long-term. Fat can't be dried out of food and goes rancid. A lot of people get around that by storing their dried food in the freezer until ready to use, but I live in an RV and only have the little freezer box that's part of the fridge. Everything I dehydrate has to keep at room temp.

I'm sure I'll be carrying my bottle of squeeze butter like everyone else. Trust me, I'm not trying to go low-fat!!!
