[at-l] bottles versus ______ Re: 2011 thru hike

When water bladders first came out, I tried one.  Bite valves are for biting off, aren't they?  <G>  Yes, I did twice.  Now, I carry three soda bottles of water: one in each bottle pocket on my pack, and one in my fanny pack.  The one in the fanny pack is the one I am drinking out of at any given time.  You used to be able to buy bottle pockets to go on your pack straps, too.  Can you still?  Seems to me I did that, pre-fanny pack.  a'bear
