I get that Chaz quite often. Just the other day at the plant picnic a co worker that follows my hikes said hello Chaz. I didn't even bother to correct. Yup thats where we met, near Stony Brook. I was on my Bennington to Franconia Notch trip. The next year I came back and made it to the top of Katahdin Sept 24 with Cob Web and Blister Butt. Pittsburgh was there to give us a ride to Millinocket. It's a great feeling to finish up a section hike of a trail. I can only imagine how much greater a Thru hike must feel. I hung around Millinocket for three days at Don Cogswell's place. I went to "End of Trail Fest" and got to see Earl give his 1948 slide show for the third time that year. I saw it at Trail Days and at the Ruck also. I liked Earl's presentation, he sure put on a nice show each time.

This is the day that we met
Chase (that's right, ain't it Chaz?) right around Stony Brook Shelter.
