On my too-long-ago thru-hike it was December 10th, or so, 
when I went through there. 
Snowed....rained....winded....beautifuled. It's a wonderful 
place to be anytime, I think. Just be safe. (nothin' wrong 
with gettin' snowed in at Thomas Knob, neither)
