[at-l] Earl Shaffer's hike questioned

This goes to my point that the AT is to be savored.  It is more than dirt roots and rocks to be covered. It is people spirit and emotion. All encompassing. 

Guess I just don't get those folks who have to cover it in less time. Not a thru but stupid speed records.
