[cdt-l] Regarding Big Sandy Lodge...

On the other hand, the alternative is not easy. Hiking out to Pinedale
takes one far from the trail. IMO the best solution (NOBO) would be to
resupply at Big Sandy and skip Pinedale. I didn't do this and lost a lot
of time going into Pindale (where i rushed to get before Sat. morning my
noon, only to find out that THAT particular PO closes at 10:45 on Saturdays)
so, we had to stay in that town for 2 more days waiting, spending money,
and watching tv. Could've been out hiking if we would've planned it right.
So, a few possible unfriendly looks because they're not seeing enough money
coming out of you. They haven't turned anyone away that i'm aware of. And
they have a great location.
