[Cdt-l] morton's neuroma

There was some back & forth about this condition on the CDT-L a little 
while ago. I was talking to a friend & one-time CDT hiker over the 
weekend. He's had this for some degree for 15 years... for him, it comes 
and goes... He said that he tapes two of his toes together - the ones 
next to the big toe, which spreads the other toes a bit & removes the 
pressure on the nerve. That helps, but isn't perfect. He's also tried 
all the other normal stuff (wide shoes, acupuncture, denial, etc...). 
Lately, it's gotten worse - such that he's contemplating surgery to 
remove the offending nerve.
