Hi Folks,
I just wanted to send a quick update and let everyone know that the grocery store in Chama is back up and running almost a year after it collapsed.  I am happy to report that it is bigger and better than before with a substantial section of what I consider to be "hiker food" and lots of organic yummies as well.
Also, Josh (Leprechaun) and I both live and work in Chama and are available to hikers for rides to and from cumbres pass, info, and possibly a place to stay depending on the timing.  We can be reached at (575)209-0019 or (575)209-0969 or you can just stop in a my studio -Laura Ryan Photographic, it's at the south end of Main st just across from the pharmacy.  We're happy to help out in any way we can being past thru hikers ourselves.  Happy trails everyone, see you this summer!
