Dan, if you got away with using a Vapor Trail on the PCT, I can't
imagine there will be a problem on the CDT.  You're right about the Ki
vs non-Ki, just those side pockets, otherwise identical.

The serious difference between Vapor Trails and the Nimbus Ozone is
that the Nimbus has a "real" frame.  So the only question is whether
your shoulders can handle the loads you plan to carry or not.  And as
I said above, past experience should give you the answer!
