I have had a few people ask about the train this year, and yes it is rather pricey.  For the next 3 days, train tickets are 51% off from Chama to Osier and back at www.groupon.com/albuquerque

There is a great AYCE-buffet lunch at Osier, could make a fine zero day for folks SB this summer/fall.  Or just a great experience for folks wanting to see the Divide from the comfort of a historic train in northern NM.
