Voluntary evacuations at Gila Hot Springs and Hwy 15 north of the junction with 
M 35 is closed. Doc Campbells Post may be closed as well. At some point, a 
umber of days back, this human caused fire might have seemed like an 
pportunity to do a little clean up, absent building firelines deep in the 
ilderness. Right now, probably not so much.

 sorry to use this forum to contact someone - next year I will have hikers 
hone numbers
 nathaniel L - you are scheduled in to deming tomorrow - please contact me - 
he weather is forecast to be ugly with winds to 60 mph not a good way to start
 also, speedstick and neighbor dave left deming yesterday for san lorenzo 
 the miller fire may cause some problems for nobo's with trail closings - it's 
urning just west of the cliff dwellings heading east
