[pct-l] Which hitch to Mojave?

I had heard that it was difficult to get a ride from 58, so I called a taxi and it cost $30 to go to the White Motel in Mojave.  Ismael is located in Tehachapi and it took him 19 minutes to reach me.  His phone number is 661-600-2771.

Those of you who've been there, done that - what's your recommendation
for hitching to Mojave - is it easier or faster from Hwy 58, or from
Oak Creek Road?
