[pct-l] On-topic - barely: Backpacker magazine changes ownership/publisher

Greetings,

When hiking the Lost Coast in January 2004, I met the
western region sales manager of the magazine. He told
me that it had the second highest rate of readers
keeping the magazine after reading it. Second, after
National Geographic.
