[pct-l] stoveless ideas?

Diana,
As Sean has pointed out you can rehidrate a variety of foods, while you are walking, in your pack or better yet in dbl.bag ziplocks against your body under your cloth ( between your pack and back would probably warm it the most ).
Some suggested Peanut Butter, but it is messy and delivers only 170 calories/oz.
MACADAMIA NUTS  on the other hand deliver 200 calories/oz. and are rich in Monounsaturated fat, the most benign fat (kind and not malignant).  You almost have to drink straight oil to beat those calories. 
I eat plenty of those babies on my JMT  Fastpacks.
Or how about PROBAR.....130 calories/oz. but lots of good wholesome healthy stuff in them.

Hey,  if they are good enough for SCOTT......they are good enough for me.
