Hello everybody, I am French and I intend to start for a thru hike in April. As you maybe know in France we rarely tip. I would like to have some advice. For example if you hitchhike do you give or offer some money and how much to the driver? What about, if you are helped by a trail angel? Are there other occasions? Thank you for your advice.
