Actually, the Sierra place name book is very interesting.  The only  thing I 
think I would add is the human history along the trail.  That would  be super 
interesting to read.  The place names are usually tied to human  activity in 
the area; name of lakes, roads, etc., etc., etc.  So, it is a  natural 
connection for the expansion of the history angle.
 
Yes, the trail community has long suspected that Buzz Saw is the real power  
behind the throne over in Agua Dulce.  Buzz Saw is quiet and reserve.   No 
circle of hugs when you meet him.  The strong silent mountainman  type.  I like 
him.  He reminds me of me.  Say, I just thought of  something.  How did he get 
the trail name Buzz Saw?  On second thought  don't answer that.
