There needs to be a new book on the history of the PCT.  Something from prehistoric times to now.  It should have lots of pictures, so I can read it too.  I think I have some old files of the PCTA from the days of Clinton Clarke.  This is back in the 1960-70's.  May be I threw them out years ago.  I don't remember.  I will have to look for them one of these days.  I remember getting his PCTA newsletters.

Say, I might have some letters to me from John Muir and Norman Clyde too.  I bet they wanted to know some of my SuperSecrets of Backpacking -The Unified Field Theory of Backpacking techniques.
