[pct-l] Bear Wallow fire, Etna to Yreka bus can be taken to cut 6 to 9 miles off road walk

 First the data analysis folks at Themis put a fire marker down 24 hours ago about 1 mile
 due south of Marble Valley,  in the valley south of below the PCT on the ridge.
http://www.geomac.gov/   Their fire marker is turning from red to yellow to black.

The Bear Wallow fire is covered at another web site also . 
  A "let it burn" wildlands fire in a wilderness area
caused by lightning,  at first they were talking about fire lines at the wilderness boundary.
 Personel on fire up to 94.

 Saving 6 to 9 miles off road walk.
 Since there is only a bus on Monday and Friday  from Yreka at 3PM down Hwy 96 to Seiad Valley

 Some may actually hike from Etna to the PCT  via Scott Valley Rd  to Marble Valley.
 You could take the bus from Etna to Greenview and save 6 miles,   then 29 miles to PCT per Pita,
  or get off at Fort Jones and save about 9 miles of road walk,  then 26 miles to PCT per Pita.
