[pct-l] Tarps and Scorpions

Hi everyone.  I am excited to be attempting a thru-hike of the PCT  
this year with my wife.  I've been reading avidly this email list for  
months (no tests, please!) but have not heard anything about my  
secret fear: waking up with a scorpion nestled in my quilt.  We don't  
have those in the cold wet northeast.

Should I be worried about scorpions (and snakes) crawling under our  
tarp and into my warm, cozy quilt?  If so, does anyone have advice on  
how to deal with this issue?  Any help or hand-holding would be  
greatly appreciated.
