[pct-l] Quick last minute shoe question

Alright, so up until recently I've been wearing Salomon shoes (pro 3d
I believe) and since I recently noticed some bad wearing on the
insides near the ankle, I decided that I should replace them before my
hike.

My question is, what would be a comparable shoe that fits the same as
Salomon, I'm thinking about changing shoes since those wore through so
fast, and the soles seemed a little thin for my pack weight (low 40's
with 10L of water and 7 days food (figured in for worst case that I'd
most likely face)). I was also thinking that black shoes and socal
might not mix very well.

Any thoughts?
