I was going to hike from Olancha Pass to Horseshoe Meadows starting today, but the Forest Service tells me that the recent So Cal storms brought in a bunch of snow and they don't expect it to milt for three weeks yet. So if your through hiking, you can take your time getting to Kennedy Meadows. Amanda
