[pct-l] Stove canisters

It was from 2009 along the PCT in Holcomb Creek area. Not sure if it was Lil Bear Camp or Holcomb Creek Camp. I'm not saying that the stoves caused the forest fire, I have no idea how that fire started. Other than the irony its probably unrelated.

If these are from alcohol stoves, then I certainly would not use one in a 
tent, that's for sure!

How can an alcohol stove user test around their stove while in use to make 
sure that it is not radiating sufficient heat or invisible flame onto the 
surface it sits on? Perhaps the addition of a large aluminum tray should be 
placed underneath to prevent what we see in this picture.

What caused the forest fire in the background? Where is this picnic table?
