[pct-l] Camping in Campo

There is no "official" camping area, or rooms for rent in Campo.  I've read of hikers scoring a spot by asking at the Campo stone store / museum (you'll know it when you see it), and a half dozen years ago, some hikers were granted permission to stay at the railroad museum parking lot.  

You could do worse than to get off the bus at Lake Morena, and camp at the county park (home of the kickoff).  From there it's a short and fairly direct 5-mile hitch to Campo.
