[pct-l] enough with the chicken thread

So, tell me, how much water do you have to add to make a quart of your 
dehydrated water?
See, the reason I think this is so much smoke and mirrors is that one would 
still have to treat the added water somehow or take thier chances.
Please elaborate for those of us who are slow of mind but fast of feet...
