[pct-l] How to get from White Pass to Cascade Locks for a section hike?

Has anyone ever gotten a Greyhound to stop along the route and let you off
somewhere that is not an approved stop? It looks like I can Greyhound
it Hood River, 20 miles short of Cascade Locks. The bus actually goes right
by Cascade Locks, but they don't have a stop there.

I don't see any regionals that do that route, but I'll try calling the Gorge
Tranist people tomorrow.

I briefly entertained the thought of biking it, which I have done before
elsewhere, but I don't want to leave a bike capable of doing 150 miles of
road chained at the trailhead.
