I will be headed over to Lone Pine and the PCT next weekend for a major expedition.? This will be the infamous Island Pass-Cottonwood Pass PCT Loop.? An extreme altitude hike that test even the best mountaineer.? The pesky wood elves, saber tooth mountain lions, and marauding Indians will be out in full force to attack Fort Switchback.? But little do they realize that Switchback will have his new Marmot freestanding netting tent.? It is impervious to attacks and repeated attempts to overwhelm its ramparts.
