[pct-l] Markings

I think the arrows over by the truck trail (A10?) were for a biking race coming up soon. There was a biker there (not on the PCT of course) and he said he was training for some race they were having there (not on the PCT). I thought the arrows were for them? Dunno.

There is in fact a short sentence written on the "contaminated" sign at Barrel Springs. It is written in magic marker and dissapears regularly (according to the source) and must be reapplied, as long as the issue is still there. Cant speak for the other places yet though.
Even though the pipe may have clogged every once in a while between cleanings, for over 20 years it was drinkable. Now it seems to be clog free but contaminated...improvement? Maybe. Everyone should just make their own decisions on where to drink I guess. Also this info is not from me but from the guy who takes care of (or used to) the spring. So many resources its good to know whats going on I guess :)
