[pct-l] Extra ounces

"Hikers are sure getting soft about carrying extra ounces these days."

In the 60's I was in my teens to early 20's.  In the 70's,  20's and  
30.  In the late ninties I walked out of Vermillion, I was 50, with  
about a 50lb+ external frame pack(what a stud).  2010 = right knee  
partial replacement, left knee work on my knee cap, two surgeries on  
my left shoulder.  Whaaaaa  : (  I need a 5lb pack.
