There really is no way you can fully train for hiking 20 miles per day,
almost every day of the month for 5 or 6 months. But what you are doing is
probably as close as you can get.
It helps to spend a lot of time on your feet before the trip.
Really though, the key is getting your mind in a good place. The trail is
probably only 20% physical. The rest is mental. :)
