[pct-l] Snow N. of Sierra City.....

Today I day hiked in Lakes Basin to Deer Lake, starting close to Packer 
Lake.  Deer Lake is still frozen and it looks like there is quite a lot 
of snow on top, where the PCT is.  I also saw a French couple on Sierra 
Buttes, who said they had hiked the entire trail to the South without 
flipping around.  They said is wasn't fun.
