[pct-l] Snow in the North Cascades..........

We just had 2 hikers set off north bound from Steven's Pass. They returned
the same day and went home due to too much snow and icy conditions. We have
only had 2 SOBO hikers make it through from Manning Park to Steven's Pass.
Both had dangerous experiences and changed their plans after showing up
here. One flipped down to Burney Falls, CA to hike north. We should have had
20 SOBO by now. Those of you who think you are better than this better take
another look. Weather is warming down here in the lower elevations but there
is still a huge amount of snow in the higher mountains especially around the
Glacier Peak and Harts Pass areas. The big snow starts around Lake Valhalla
just north of Steven's Pass.
