Wow - I was just looking at the specs on the Big Agnes vs. REI's Quarter
Dome 1 person. The Big Agnes is both lighter (3 pounds vs. 3 pounds 6 oz),
bigger (22 sq. ft. vs. 14.6), and has a larger vestibule (10 ft. vs. 6.2
ft). How is that even possible? It's not like the poles on the Quarter Dome
are made out of cast iron or something. Unfortunately, it is quite a bit
more expensive though ($350 vs $199)...But think of it this way, the extra
$151 you spend will lighten your wallet by 2.06 additional ounces.

I have the Quarter Dome (for no better reason than it was cheap and
convenient at the time I got it). Haven't had it in rain or wind yet, but
it seems OK. Small, but OK. Strange setup though.
