Hello,

I am planning to bring my Yaesu VX-3R dual band HT and a small
homemade roll-up j-pole antenna with me on the trail. I've got a
repeater directory that I'll transcribe some info from and will call
out on the 2m national FM simplex calling frequency most evenings. I
was just wondering if there were any other hams hiking the pct and if
you've had any success sending radiograms back to update
family/friends from the trail.
