It could be possible and very beautiful.

It could also be blowing 70mph at 25F and snowing in the Lagunas. Snow
in the Lagunas is usually temporary, and melts in a few days when it
falls.

Assuming no storm, you should be able to make it the Palms to Pines
Hwy before snow on the ground in the San Jacinto area causes you
problems.
