I will section hike a small portion of southern OR this summer. I know mosquitoes are bad in August but what is everyone’s guess as to what part of August? Should I ignore the entire month or with this year’s slightly below average snow fall could I start some time in August? I know there are no guarantee answers; just looking for a ball park figure.
