[pct-l] PCT 2012 Thru-hike Gear List - HELP!

Many of the CA forests will not allow wood burning stoves.

From the CA campfire permit:

"...when FIRE RESTRICTIONS are in effect ... ONLY a portable stove with gas jellied petroleum or pressurized liquid fuel outside of developed recreation sites. or designated fire use areas."

Fire restrictions are almost always in effect...
