I’ve been prepping for the last year and while I feel as comfortable as I
think I’d need to be to make the trek, The gear part is consuming me..lol
more of an addiction you could say. One that makes final decisions very
hard J I want it allllllll,…..

I’m budgeted to be bringing a Big Agnes FC UL2 Platinum for my Thur-hike
next spring. I’ve been a shelter guy for years, but never on a 5mth trek.
Problem is I can read peoples reviews on the BG and it sounds nice (If
someone who has used a FC UL2 could chime in on how life was on the trail
for that long) But for years now I’ve also had my eye on the LightHeart
Gear Solo. It’s weight is incredible but there are few reviews on it.

The owner Judy seems to really get involved with the hiking community which
I really like and would rather put my dollars, albeit half the price of the
BA Plat., In the mom and pop shops, but just worry about quality. Has
anyone seen one of these baby’s in action? Used one?

Ken – We’ve done our bickering, but I’d like to commend you for your
website. Your debate style has me quite confident the stuff on your site
is as accurate as it can be. You’re shipping canisters page is perfect.
Sooooo I guess in an odd way – I’m saying sorry for being such dick in our
debates. Your knowledge is invaluable. Hope I get a chance to see you on
trail next year. Would love to buy you a beer. (although it would have to
be the weaker American kind) ;)

Thanks in advance for any help with my tent dilemma
