There is no need to do anything more than simply not yield to bicycles on
the trail. If you want to write checks your ass may not be able to cash,
that is your own personal deal, but be prepared for any possible aftermath,
possibly even criminal charges. I don't wish these kinds of things on
anyone, and only desire that everyone act with their eyes wide open to what
could happen. Simply not yielding is not really an action, at least not one
you could ever get in trouble for, so that is a protest of the bicycle on
the trail without doing anything but continue hiking.
