** New Track Available
------------------------------------------------------------
Before my hike (see below) I lived with my brother Vince and decided to do an about face from classical guitar. We created some unique music with many instruments and even tried out my singing voice a little bit! This experience has really opened my eyes to creating music. This track is called "Rapid Eyes." www.flyingladysound.com

** PCT Hike
------------------------------------------------------------
For about 4 months last year, I hiked about 2000 miles and saw some of the most extreme places in the US. I followed the Pacific Crest Trail, a national scenic trail from just below the Sierra Nevadas in Sequoia National Forest all the way to Manning Provincial Park in British Columbia, Canada. I'd like to share a couple pictures and stories every email because this effort has left an indelible mark on me and has very directly affected my musical personality.

This is one of my favorite pictures from my trip. It was the most beautiful day in one of the prettiest areas on the trail. Just north of Carson Pass, getting close to Tahoe, this area made me incredibly happy to be hiking and living a very lucky moment.

This was the Packwood Glacier in Goat Rocks National Wilderness up in Washington. It was one of the most memorable days on the entire trip; it was freezing cold, 60-70 mph winds, whole clouds battered the mountains and hence the trail, and it was about 8 miles of a rocky "knife edge," which was so thin and steep on either side I had to hike about twice as slowly. It's a shame I didn't get to see the surely incredible views that day, which apparently includes a full shot of Mt. Rainier, but I will never forget how alive those conditions made me.
