Observation is the first step of science. This video was shared by my
FB friend, who was injured by bare foot running method.

Walking is different from running. The minimum shoes eliminate the
protection of foot as far as possible. Therefore, the physiological
stress of foot may increase. By my simple reasoning, it increases the
both probability of  training and overuse effect. That is, it may work
for training or overuse. The result is not predictable. It depend on
individual strength or its practice method.
