[pct-l] Why California's Trails Are Disappearing From Our Maps

Hi Jim,
I have apologized to Ken and part of what I didn't grasp from him initially is, due to the absolutely terrible shape our local Santa Barbara trails are in, just about any other trail looks like a nature trail in a city park.
And, not that it matters but, I do volunteer for our local trail maintenance, as a member of the Los Padres NF Volunteer Wilderness Rangers. I absolutely love this part of hiking and will be involved with this organization for a long time to come. Like many of us, I think of this as my personal payment for my use of the trails.
Who knows, this whole misunderstanding tonight just could Segway into working a project with Ken's crew after I finish the trail, about September 1st this year.
