[pct-l] Disrespect of the PCT

I liked what Brick had hypothesized about the scene. It did look like the
bag was on top of a bear box.

I was as interested in this story as you all were. I always like to get to
the bottom of things before I form an opinion. I found the note to be a
little bit over the top and it was hard for me to believe that someone who
would leave trash would go to the trouble of writing a note like that. So
that led me to wonder who is this person who wrote the letter to the PCTA.
I found this link to a presentation by the author of the letter Deb
Schweizer:

I'm not sure what to make of it but I found slides 16 through 20 very
interesting. Sounds like someone who knows how to manipulate a story. Was
the note for real or a set up to make a point? Read this presentation,
think about it. If people are immediately going to assume that a thru-hike
did this, as Deb Schweizer apparently wants us to believe - even though the
note doesn't say that, then shouldn't we also question her motives? I'm not
sure myself but we will probably never know the whole story.
