As a wise man once told me 'bathing is over rated.'  When you are hiking 20
plus miles from sun up to sun down, cleaning self and clothes just doesn't
seem to matter so much.  Being female, I did sometimes wipe down my lone
pair of panties with a wet wipe.
In the desert, water is for drinking not washing.  Don't waste or polite it.
The average time between re supplies is about 5 days probably.  You can
wait and clean up there.
