When I knew I was going to hike the PCT, I had this same issue. I chose option 3, getting my eyes fixed via Lasik. If that's an option for you, I would recommend it. Not having to deal with any glasses OR contacts for many years to come (depending on your age) was well worth it. Verdick '05
