There is a bus that goes from Lake Morena in the morning, and another that
goes in the evening.

I don't think either of them go every day.

I can't answer the other way you want to go.

Subject: [pct-l] Easter Vacation hike

Hiking partner and I are planning to hike during Easter Vacation (for us)
March 27, through April 1. We would like to park our car at Mereno Lake
Park, hitch a ride to the southern terminus and hike back to the car. Then
hitch again to S1 trail head and again hike back to the car. I figure that
this should be about 57 to 60 miles and allow time to get to different trail
heads. We aren't real fast hikers, but get where we are going. Does this
sound like it could work? If hitching isn't a good idea, is there public
transportation? Does anyone have a better plan?
