Of course Tommy Knockers is a brewpub in ID Springs that you can get to from Bertherd (but shouldn't because Winter Park/Frasier is closer) However, the Winter Park brewpub is poor (at least in the summer off-season).

Creede has many options for beer and a burger. I like Kip's Grill, which is next to the laundry.

I didn't know Avery had a brew pub. They do put up with geeks who find their brewery.

Steamboat had a brewpub last summer. They had tapas at happy hour. There has always been an average to below average brewpub in Steamboat or the ski lodge. There has been some turnover over the years. So, if the old one has closed, look for the new one.

Also, brewpubs in Silver City, NM (the number one problem with the Wolf Route), Lander, WY, and Helina, MT.

Leadville, CO and Pinedale, WY have brewpubs that have gone from poor to only a little below average. Even Mags likes the Pb'vlle hostel, however, it is not a necessary stop between Twin Lakes, and Frisco.

How come nobody has posted the link for Cookie and Paul's 2008 video:

> you are wet and hungry... half-pound of beef, with bacon washed down with a beer is just pure nirvana. Tommy Knockers was the place IIRC. Not a brewpub, but a good quasi-locals place. Had pool tables! Music! A real bar! They DO NOT sell freakin' Texas souvenirs in this place. :) (When you get to Creede or Lake City, you'll see what I mean!)
