[Cdt-l] List Activity

Hi Shroomer, I don’t have a specific time yet, I still have probably two more years of section hiking to complete the PCT (still working so have to do my hiking with vacation time). I just like to start accumulating information and knowledge about the trail. I am originally from Montana (I live in California now), so I have hiked most of Glacier and the Bob.

Hey I-Beam,

I'm sure there are more of us out there, but it seems the fb pages have taken a lot of the juice from the Lists. I still like this and the PCTL forums as they seem to promote more detailed and thoughtful responses. The PCTL's been pretty active recently, and I didn't realize the CDTL hadn't been since Oct. I'm sure there are others out there still following. When are you thinking of starting on the CDT?

I signed up for this list serve about a month ago and have not received any posts. The archives indicate that there have been no posts since last October. Is that right? I know this list serve has never been as active as the PCT list serve, but no posts since October seems too long.

I have been on the PCT list serve for many years and have section hiked a large portion of the trail. I have learned a lot about the trail from the list serve, but it seems its popularity is waning. I am now starting to think about the CDT for when I finish the PCT. Is anybody out there?
