[pct-l] Badwater to Mt Whitney via the backcountry

My attempted June thru-hike from Badwater to Whitney was a 
smashing success! Which is to say, a successful attempt. An 
attempt at success. Not a thru-hike at all, but an 
education...

Lesson #1: thru-hike the route in September - October 
(only!)
Lesson #2: the route is eminently thru-hikable as previously

Just bring the requisite skills and attitude, and expect to 
carry a bit of water.
