[pct-l] Socks

Have been wearing Thorlo light hikers with Coolmax and trail shoes since my AT thru in 2003.  Wondered if any PCT vets recommend something heavier in some areas/seasons.  
   
  Been thinking about having cold/wet feet in the snow and starting to consider either a lightweight wool or possibly a Goretex oversock, at least in the Sierras.
   
  Any comments ??
