[pct-l] The PCT - Why so many lists?

i think you'll find that, over the years, the pct-l has been by far the 
most comprehensive source of pct info on the net, and definitely the 
most populated forum. the only problem is that, since it's a listserv, 
finding archived info is definitely more difficult. the archives are out 
there, and are searchable, but it's often not easy to quickly find 
definitive up-to-date answers without simply just posing the question 
again on the pct-l (often to the annoyance of longtime list members 
who've seen certain standard questions infinitely hashed and re-hashed).

but the bottom line is, if you have some questions that you can't seem 
to find answered anywhere else, this is the best place to ask them.
